Avatarpoint, the meeting place of Avatars, a world within a world, a place to collect,share, express, network and enhance your quality of life. A place to find a nice spot on planet earth to live. We think of Avatarpoint as an Online Social Networking Resource Community with resources where people with similar interests share commonality and networking across the globe. There are many meanings to what an Avatar is, I will say it is what you choose it to be. More functionality and options are currently in developemnt and will be released as final testing and launch date is expected in 2008.

Skilled identity thieves use a variety of methods to steal your personal information, including:

Dumpster Diving. They rummage through trash
looking for bills or other paper with your personal
information on it. Solution: Always shred your personal information with a shreeder.

Skimming. They steal credit/debit card numbers
by using a special storage device when processing
your card.Solution: Always try to pay where you can see the transaction, avoid giving it to someone who goes out of view of our card.

Phishing. They pretend to be financial
institutions or companies and send spam or
pop-up messages to get you to reveal your
personal information. Solution:carefully check the origin of emails and context if they appear odd chances are they are fake.

Changing Your Address. They divert your billing
statements to another location by completing a
"change of address" form. Solution:notify your accounts if they recieve a change in your address to confirm it verbally with you before prossing it, most companies wont do this but allyou need is one to safeguard yourself.

"Old-Fashioned" Stealing. They steal wallets
and purses; mail, including bank and credit card
statements; pre-approved credit offers; and new
checks or tax information. They steal personnel
records from their employers, or bribe employees

Is the Vatican easing humanity toward alien disclosure?

'Vatican chief astronomer Father Jose Gabriel Funes in a long interview with the L'Osservatore Romano newspaper this week made news by saying there is a certain possibility of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe, and that such notion "doesn't contradict our faith."

"How can we rule out that life may have developed elsewhere? Just as we consider earthly creatures as 'a brother,' and 'sister,' why should we not talk about an 'extraterrestrial brother'? It would still be part of creation," he said.

The statements by Funes are the latest in a string of recent comments by Vatican astronomers confirming a belief that discovery may be made in the near future of alien life, including intelligent life, and that this discovery would not unhinge the doctrine of Christ.'
